How to make a crane / bird origami


1.  Place the paper according to the photo below. Fold in half by joining the bottom edge to the top.

2. A triangle is formed like the photo.

3. Then fold it again so that it forms a triangle again.

4. Next, open the lower end of the triangle until it forms like in the photo.

5. From the top edge of the open part, press down and fold as in the photo.

6. Do the same for the back side.

7. Then, the open side of the paper is faced down, then fold the left and right sides (see photo).

8. Fold the tip of the top triangle down.

9. Open the fold (see photo)



10. Then, unfold from the bottom edge and fold inward following the previous crease. Do it also for the back.

11. Fold the left and right sides again like the photo.

12. Do it also for the back.

13. The slender bottom folds up.

14. Open and fold towards the inside.

15. Do the same on the right side.

16. Choose one side of the fold that is slim. Make a small indentation for the crane's head.

17. Pull both sides of the wide crease left and right. The crane is formed like in the photo!
